Khalid began his Boys & Girls Club journey in March 2025 and brings with him over seven years of experience in the aquatics field. He is dedicated to creating a safe, energetic, and welcoming environment where kids can build confidence in and out of the water. Khalid has a passion for youth development, especially inspiring young people to lead active lifestyles and believe in their abilities.

Inez
Inez (pronounced eye-nez) joined the Club in June 2023 as a LEAP teacher in the preschool classroom. She has been working and volunteering with children since she was 11 years old. Ever since she was young, she’s known that being around children and sharing her love and care with them is where she feels happiest. She’s currently working toward her degree in Early Childhood Education and Care and dreams of one day opening her own daycare.
Claire
Claire first started her Boys & Girls Club journey in 2019 as a Program Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Claire joined the McKeown Boys & Girls Club as Clubhouse Program Director in the spring of 2022. She became the organization’s Director of Program Operations in February 2025. Claire is passionate about helping youth of all ages realize and fulfill their greatest potential. Her favorite part about the Club is watching Club kids develop into well-rounded members of their community.
Anthony
Coach Anthony joined the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn in 2000. But, he was no stranger to Boys & Girls Clubs. He grew up at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica and was later on the staff team of that Club as well. Since 1986, he has been coaching swimmers of all ages for many swim teams and high schools in the area. Under his leadership, our swim team has received numerous awards and has won the NENEAPC Sectional Division 1 Championship in 4 of the last five years. In 2015, Anthony was inducted into the Massachusetts Swim Coaches Hall of Fame.
Julie
Julie has been with the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn since 2004. She served as both the Arts & Education Director and the Director of Program Development prior to assuming the role of Executive Director. Julie is a graduate of Bates College, where her passion for working with youth developed as she designed ELL programs for Somali immigrant students in local schools. In 2014, she completed the Institute for Nonprofit Management and Leadership program at Boston University. Her Club programs have been honored for excellence nationally, and she has also received regional professional recognition. Outside of the Club, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and serves on the Woburn Cultural Council.
Joe
Joe the Janitor, or JTJ as he is affectionately known, first joined Club when he was eight years old and has been involved ever since. Joe was a Boy of the Year in 1990 and then attended Westfield State College where he earned his degree in business. Over the years Joe has also worked at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield and the Waltham Boys & Girls Club. He started his own business; Gaiero’s Complete Cleaning and took over the maintenance responsibilities at our Clubhouse. In May of 2014 Joe joined the full time professional staff team as the organization’s Facilities Manager. He is responsible for all aspects of the Club’s physical plant. In addition he supports all of the Club’s various programs and especially coaching his children in the Biddy & Buddy basketball leagues.
Alexa
Alexa joined the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn as a teacher in the LEAP preschool classroom in March 2023. She has nine years of childcare experience, working with different age groups from infants to preschoolers. She has experience both as a nanny and in center-based childcare settings. Alexa studied graphic design in school and has a love for creativity and art. In her free time, she loves to go to the beach, movies, travel and go out to eat. She loves trying new places!
Emily
Kimberly
Kimberly joined the Club in August 2025 as Director of Development and Communications. She is a graduate of Lesley University with a degree in English and Education. Before joining the Club, Kimberly worked in education and has always loved supporting youth as they grow and discover their passions. With a deep belief in the Club’s mission, Kimberly is excited to support programs that create opportunities for youth to thrive. Her favorite part about working at the Club is seeing the community step up for its youth and witnessing the love and joy members have for being at the Club!
Aubrie
Aubrie is a proud alumni of the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn! She first joined the Club when she was eight years old and has been involved ever since. She has experience working at the Club in many positions from her time as a Junior Staff as a teen, to her roles in TEAM Summer and as a Front Desk Assistant. Aubrie has experience working in special education, and uses those skills to support members academically, socially, and emotionally. In 2023, Aubrie joined the Clubhouse team full-time as the Teen Director, and her favorite programs are Keystone and Teen Baking. She loves being able to give the youth in her community the support they need to be successful. Outside of the Club, Aubrie enjoys reading and traveling.
