Summer Camp

2021 Summer Camp

Update: March 22, 2021

We know many families are anxious to learn about what might be in store for the summer of 2021 at James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn.

As we are sure you are aware, the Club has had nearly all of its fundraising events canceled over the past twelve months. These fundraisers cover the great majority of the expenses associated with summer programs and allow us to keep our fees affordable. We are working hard to identify some solutions for the summer programs this year given the financial obstacles that our organization faces.

At this time we have not made any decisions about what programs will be offered in the summer of 2021. Feel free to bookmark this webpage, as any updates or announcements will be made here in the coming weeks and months.

We know that there are many wonderful summer camp programs in the area that are currently enrolling & we encourage you to check them out and see if they may be a great fit for your family.

The safety of our youth, their families, and our staff are at the center of everything we do at the Club. Health and safety will continue to be our priority as we continue to move forward through this “new normal.”

Thank you for your understanding.

Julie Gage, Executive Director

About Our Camp

Licensed by the Department of Public Health, the Club’s summer camp program is a traditional day camp that also offers an abundance of high yield learning activities aimed at curbing summer learning loss. We aim to build campers’ self-confidence while they develop respect for each other and the world around them.

Parents and caregivers may use the button below to pay weekly tuition fees. Thank you!

About Our Staff

The Club takes pride in our dedicated, energetic, and well-trained staff. All staff members take part in a selective interview process that includes both CORI and SORI background checks. They are also trained in both first aid and CPR.

Something New & Exciting Every Day

The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with an all-camp meeting and ends with group time at 5:30 p.m. In between, there is swimming, sports, arts, science experiments and so much more.
