Komal Hayat

Komal Hayat is the Club’s Childcare Specialist. She supports both Project Learn and LEAP Childcare. Komal holds a Master’s Degree in Community Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. Her professional journey has always been rooted in the education and psychology fields, particularly with school-age children. She grew up in a family that ran their own school, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, and that is how she developed a deep commitment to the importance of children’s education.

Komal’s passion lies in seeing children grow and mentoring them for their overall well-being – not just academically but in all aspects of life. She is especially passionate about fostering children’s emotional and social intelligence, helping them navigate relationships, express themselves, and develop confidence. Komal believes that every experience, both in and outside the classroom, contributes to a child’s development.

She prioritizes keeping parents actively involved, helping them embrace the new experiences and evolving personalities their children develop. Komal believes that partnering with parents fosters a supportive environment that encourages growth for both children and their families.
