Childcare – L.E.A.P. and Project Learn
JLM Boys & Girls Club is seeking a floating childcare teacher to work with both early childhood and school age children. This teacher will work at two locations each day, so reliable transportation is important. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with a competitive benefits package. Our licensed afterschool programs located at the Hurld Wyman Elementary School and Linscott Rumford Elementary School are looking for afterschool teachers. The ideal candidates are motivated and energetic individuals who will engage our students in recreational and educational activities. This position is part time, up to 20 hours per week. The Director is responsible for effectively delivering a broad range of activities for youth and teens, and planning, developing and overseeing program implementation and outcome measurement while supervising programs, staff and volunteers. In partnership with Social Capital Inc., we will host two full time AmeriCorps Youth Leadership Coordinators, who will complete 1,700 service hours between September 2021 and June 2022. Youth Leadership Coordinators will serve as leaders to a youth council, and increase the capacity of host sites to implement social capital building, youth engagement and community service-learning as strategies to achieve high educational outcomes.
