Pre-K Teacher

Savana Spellman

Savana has been a dedicated member of our L.E.A.P. Childcare team since August 2021. She discovered my passion for working with children while still in high school, through child development classes and internships. Since then, she’s worked with infants through Pre-K in childcare settings, and she’s even had the special opportunity to care for the siblings of children she previously taught. Building those long-term connections with families has been one of her favorite parts of this work.
Savana holds an Associate’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Bachelors of Social Work at Salem State University, while also interning in a middle school setting. Supporting students’ social-emotional and academic needs has strengthened her commitment to helping children and teens feel safe, understood, and supported.
In her free time, Savana is a busy body and is usually on the move – but she also enjoy going out for a meal with friends or spending a relaxing night in with her family. She is so grateful to be part of such a caring community and to work with wonderful coworkers, families, and kids.
