Supervised Learning Center

James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn is proud to partner with Woburn Public Schools, the City of Woburn, and the North Suburban YMCA to offer a Supervised Learning Center in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The Supervised Learning Center will operate from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for students in grades K-5, enrolled in Woburn Public Schools’ hybrid option. Those in Cohort B will be able to attend on Mondays and Tuesdays. Those in Cohort A will be able to attend on Thursdays and Fridays.

The program’s objective is to provide a safe, supportive environment in which students have access to wireless internet in order to participate in remote learning two days per week.

How to Apply

Families who are interested in participating in the Supervised Learning Center program should fill out this survey. Note that the deadline to create the survey was Friday, September 11, 2020. Families interested should still complete the application to be placed on the waiting list to await the second round of placements.

Parents who have already completed the survey should know that the partners are working diligently on assigning placements for all those students who qualify for the program. Assignments will be arriving in your e-mail inboxes ASAP with more details. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
