Celebrate April Vacation With Us!

We have planned a week full of fun programs and activities for ALL members to get involved in. Members of all ages are welcome to participate in daily workouts, trivia games, and programs. 

Join us for a virtual Spirit Week to connect us from home. From Club Spirit Day to Dress to Impress, participate daily to mix it up and spread some smiles.

Participate throughout the week in programs and theme days  to earn special prizes. All days outlined in our schedule.

How to Participate:
  –  Make sure you have filled out the Virtual Program Permission form for your member. 
  –  Links to participate in our virtual programs will be emailed out each morning to those who have completed this form. 
  –  Download the BlueJeans app (or join us on your desktop) to participate. This information will be included in the daily email.
  –  Members are encouraged to join how they feel most comfortable (turning on video is not mandatory!). 
  –  See you at the Virtual Clubhouse for April Vacation!

Virtual Program Opportunities

Staff have been working hard to engage members in new ways during our shutdown. From providing online activities to creating a safe space to hangout together online, we have really enjoyed getting together through this tough time!

Staff have made some edits to our weekly hangout schedule in hopes of engaging members in more focused programs & activities this week. We hope you’ll join us! Check out the changes here (click the image for larger view!):
     

Please note that members should always engage in whatever way they feel most comfortable. They can join in without video or mute and just listen along. We just appreciate the time together in however our members need it.

Virtual Clubhouse Hangouts

Join us for a variety of activities, homework help and hangouts over the shutdown. Check-in with staff and keep the Club connection. Hangouts begin Monday, March 30, 2020.

Members need permission to participate. Just fill out this online form to grant your member permission. Once permission is completed, invites to virtual hangouts will be sent to the emails provided. 

The Club is utilizing BlueJeans Network to facilitate our calls. Members can access hangouts via the link in the invite on their desktop or download the BlueJeans app on a phone.

The Club is taking all precautions to keep our members safe online. There will always be two staff present, the chat features will be disabled and sessions will be recorded to ensure the safety of the group. As always if you have any concerns, please email Meg!

Free Swim at the Clubhouse!

As of Monday, February 24, 2020 the drop-in Clubhouse will be offering biweekly free swim.  All current drop-in Club members are invited to swim every Monday & Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

All those interested must bring their Club card, a bathing suit and towel and a positive attitude to participate.

Please note any changes to this schedule will be posted in the Club’s front lobby and on our website.  Make sure to check here for our most up to date schedule!

February Vacation at the Clubhouse!

The drop-in program will be opened Tuesday, February 18th through Friday, February 21st for all currently enrolled Clubhouse members!

Members at the Clubhouse will be taking the Great American Road Trip! We’ll be travelling the country through fun programs and activities. Join us for a packed week of fun! From gym games to science experiments and everything in between, you won’t want to miss this exciting week at the Club!

February Vacation Schedule

The Clubhouse drop-in program is open to all current drop-in members at no additional cost.  The drop-in program will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The drop-in program will be open Tuesday, February 18th to Friday, February 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note there is no early drop off or late pick up and the Club is closed on Monday, February 17th.

Winter Clubhouse Schedule!

The winter drop-in Clubhouse schedule begins now! New programs and activities will be rolling out starting Monday, January 6th at the Main Clubhouse!

Staff have created a wide variety of new options in all areas of the Club for our members to get involved. Try something new today and check in with staff to learn more about what is happening around the building!

Congratulations, November Members of the Month!

Congratulations to our November Members of the Month for the 2019-2020 program year! Each month staff recognize 6 members of our drop-in program for their participation in programs, engagement in different areas of the Club and positive attitude & behavior. Learn more about them here!


A.C.E. Award – Achieving through Continuous Effort
Given to 1 member of any age each month for excelling in the priority outcome area of Healthy Lifestyles by showing good sportsmanship and a positive attitude while pushing themselves to try new things and make good choices.

Hayden D. earned the A.C.E. award for being an active member and persevering and stepping outside his comfort zone while participating in Flag Football League.


S.T.A.R. Award – Striving Towards Achieving Results
Given to 1 member of any age each month for excelling in the priority outcome area of Academic Success by participating in a variety of programs and activities while demonstrating a strong effort to better themselves academically.

Alide H. was names S.T.A.R. of the month for being a helpful, kind and respectful Club member. Alide is a positive influence and helper during Power Hour, the Club’s homework time.


G.R.E.A.T. Award – Generous, Respectful, Engaged, Accepting & Thoughtful
Given to 1 member of any age for excelling in the priority outcome area of Good Character & Leadership by showing a commitment to service learning through participation in service around the Club while also being a leader and making thoughtful, smart choices.

Jenna P. received our G.R.E.A.T. award for her willingness to jump in and lend a hand to her peers and Club staff. An active Keystone member, Jenna has been a consistent leadership presence at the Club.


Jr. Staff Member of the Month
Given to 1 member of the junior staff that leads by example and is a reliable role model during the time they work at the Club.  They go above and beyond their responsibilities and are a true example of teen leaders at the Club!

Brendan T. was honored for always checking in with Club staff on what needs to be done. Brendan has demonstrated strong communication skills and a desire to learn and improve as a Jr. Staff.


Member of the Month
Given to 1 member aged 8 to 12 for consistent attendance and participation in all three key priority outcome areas while also possessing a good attitude, showing respect for all, and being a leader at the Club.

Erik L. is the Member of the Month For being a good influence on other members. Erik is always understanding and productive, showing maturity and a willingness to try a variety of programs.


Teen of the Month
Given to 1 member aged 13 to 18 for taking on leadership roles in the Clubhouse, setting an example for all Club members while also being present at the Club and participating in programs in each of the three key priority outcome areas while at the Club!

Lianna O. is our Teen of the Month for being a good friend and a kind presence to her peers and other Club members. Leanna is a positive role model and is always respectful and helpful to staff.

Elise B. was awarded Member of the Month for actively participating in a wide variety of Club programs, trying new things, and being a respectful friend and Club member.

Clubhouse Family Night!

Join us Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Main Clubhouse for Family Night!

All Club families are encouraged to join us at the Club for a fun night of activities and the chance to participate in Club activities as a family! All Club members are welcomed and should be accompanied by a caring adult to stay for the family night activities. Please note that the Club will be providing some light refreshments and dessert for participants.

The Club is collecting nonperishable food items to support the Council of Social Concern food bank. We ask that families consider bringing a canned good to donate at this event.

Please note that basketball and swim practice will run as normally scheduled! Members 7th grade and younger, not accompanied by an adult must be picked up at the regular time of 7:00 p.m.
