Lucky’s Lobsters Swim Team
Lucky’s Lobsters is a competitive & recreational swim program for swimmers ages 6-18. The regular season takes place from September through February. The team competes in the NENEAPC swim league against area Boys & Girls Clubs from November through January. Each year, families also have the option to travel to Florida for the National Boys & Girls Club Swimming Championships.
Lucky’s Lobsters is a program of the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn’s Main Clubhouse. All swimmers are required to have an active membership at the Clubhouse. All memberships must be renewed annually in September.
Lucky’s Lobsters 2026-2027 Swim Season
Registration for the 2026-2027 season opens on September 2, 2026. Please remember that completing online registration does not complete the full membership process. All new and returning members are required to attend an orientation before their membership is complete.

Lucky’s Lobsters Swim Team Evaluations
September 22–24: New Swimmer Evaluations
Evaluations are for new swimmers only. Returning swim team members should not attend during this week.
September 28–October 2: Returning Swimmer Evaluations
Evaluations are for returning swimmers who participated on the team last year only. New swimmers should not attend during this week.
Following evaluations, families will receive an email with each swimmer’s team placement by the end of the day on Friday, October 2.
October 5–9: First Week of Practice
Regular swim team practices will begin for all swimmers during the week of October 5. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the pool for another great season!
