Check out the offerings for our high school members for Summer 2024! Open to members currently enrolled in high school. Programs designed to expand workforce development opportunities and career readiness while offering a safe and fun option for teens during the summer months. 

ACE Teen Summer 2024

Advancing Career Exploration

This unique opportunity is designed for members to explore their interests and passions, develop their employability skills, and be exposed to real world work opportunities. Members in 9th & 10th grades during the 2023-2024 school year are invited to participate! This program will offer workforce readiness programming, life skills activities, and off-site experiences. Members will also participate in traditional summer camp activities like social recreation, physical fitness, and aquatics programs.

ACE runs for 5 weeks, July 8th – August 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cost to participate for the full session is $125. Financial aid is available, reach out to learn more!

Summer Internship Program

James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn seeks to hire high school and early college students for the summer programs at the Club. Motivated young adults interested in engaging elementary and middle school students this summer are welcome to apply. This opportunity is designed to provide real work experience for those interested in a future career in education or youth development.
